Healer Registration

Welcome to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries!
This is the primary wizarding hospital in Britain. With healers
instead of doctors, and potions instead of pills, this is the place
you want to be if you find yourself sick or injured. No students are
accepted as healer trainees, however internships are available to
anyone age sixteen to eighteen.


Positions available to apply for:

Head of Mungo's, Head of Ward, Sr. Healer, Jr. Healer,
Healer-in-training, Nurse, Intern.

Floor Levels:

Basement= Psychology Ward
Ground Floor = Artifact Accidents
First Floor = Creature Induced Injuries
Second Floor = Magical Bugs & Diseases
Third Floor = Potions & Plant Poisoning
Fourth Floor = Spell Damage
Fifth Floor = Maternity Ward

Requirements:

If you are a sixth or seventh year, you may only apply as an intern.
At age eighteen, you may apply as a trainee. Junior Healers may be no
younger than twenty-five, and Senior Healers no younger than
thirty-five. After that, the promotions will be given on a skill
basis. If you have shown excellent RP skills and your character has
shown incredible healing skills, the higher positions will be awarded.

Name: Alec William Fletcher

Age: 24

Position: Healer in Training

Area in Mungos: Magical Bugs and Diseases

Appearance: Dark brown hair and eyes, tall, athletic build, contagious smile

Character History: Born in 1970 in Houston, TX to muggle parents. Magic showed up around the age of seven and he went to an American Wizarding school named Phoenix Point, where he dated Michelle Reynolds. His mother died in a car accident when he was eight. His sister, Rachel is five years younger than he is. His father was diagnosed of cancer when he was sixteen and died just after Alec's graduation. Alec moved himself and his sister to England where he began work as a trainee. He mentored with Randall Marks, who is now his adoptive father, for all intents and purposes. When he was twenty-three, he married Katy Black and she got pregnant with a boy. But things did not work out between them and he is now engaged to his previous girlfriend, Michelle. They have a five year old daughter named Lexi.

Family History: Father, William Fletcher moved from Britain when he was twenty and went to school in Texas, where he met Emily Daws. They were married when he was twenty-three and had Alec two years later. Rachel came five years later and then Emily died in 1978. William died in 1988 of cancer.

Name: Randall J. Marks

Age: 35

Appearance: Randall is a very distinguished looking man, with a warm smile that just lets his patients know that he will take good care of them, he has salt and pepper hair and very warm hazel eyes.

Character History: Randall graduated from Hogwarts as a Slytherin and always succeeded when it came to potions and DADA. He lived with his mother and father, who were also Healers at the Hospital. Both are still living but long since have retired. He has a younger brother who he know longer sees because of an old family grudge.

Later on during his last few years at Hogwarts Randall met the love of his life and married two years after graduation. The love was short lived though as Dawn died in from giving birth to their daughter Evelyn Rose Marks who is also in Slytherin and attends Hogwarts.

Family History: Randall's parents both met in Hogwarts during their fifth year of school. They had two children, Randall being the oldest and his brother Alexander being the youngest.

RP Sample: Randall walked around the hospital in a daze. So many hours of nothing but going over various case files. He was tired and just all around cranky. He could not wait to return home and just collapse onto his bed. But Randall knew that his dream of sleep was far from him. He had offered to stay late, so stay late he would.

Yawning once more he continued to his desk. Just five minutes, he only wanted to sit for five minutes and that was it. Sighing he collapsed into his chair and turned to several pictures that were on his desk. Smiling he lifted on from the desk. Evelyn, if only you knew what he did for you so you could be happy.

Name: Aiden Showers

Age: 40

Position: Head of Ward

Appearance: Dark hair and eyes, six feet tall, very ominous presence. Fit body and usually sports a five o'clock shadow.

Character History: Born to Wealthy parents in London, England in 1954. He has always been an arrogant Gryffindor at heart. He was sobered when he lost a friend to the Death Eaters, which is what spurred him to become a healer. He met his wife, Celeste, when she came in to St. Mungo's on a love potion. Her parents did not approve of the relationship, so they ran away together and got married. A year later, they had April. They have two other daughters, June and Gabby. And Celeste is pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl.

Family History: Adam and Caroline Showers were loving, yet slightly aloof parents. They were both pure-blood and had only one child. They died in a car accident just after Aiden married Celeste.

RP Sample: Aiden watched the warm flames flicker within his fireplace. He had not been able to go home since the Ministry had taken her. He loved his family, but something snapped within him when he realized Gabby was gone. He hadn't been working, sleeping, eating. And he didn't care to anymore. He had broken his promise to her. There had to have been something else he could have done. And now she was back with her bastard of a father and he couldn't find them.

He needed someone to tell him what to do. And that was just not like him. He was Aiden Showers! He was the one who told others what to do! But he felt like a lost little boy right now. And soon he would waste away to nothing. He laid his head feebly on the desk and waited for illness to take him, until he heard a light knock on the door. Could that be her? Had she finally come back? He rushed to the door, but his face fell when he saw it was just a damn trainee coming for him to sign off on something.

"Leave me alone to my grief, why don't you?" He asked as he begrudingly signed the trainee's paperwork. He moved back to his desk in a daze and passed out against the cool wood.

Name: Rosa Tareba

Age: 18

Position: Trainee

Area in Mungos: Level 3: Potions and Plant Poisonings

Appearance: Beautiful blond hair that spirals and curls down her back in rivers of gold. Her eyes are as green as lily pads and she has a smile that sparkles like the stars on a winters night.

Character History: Rosa had a good life, she lived with a very large family of purebloods. Her parents gave her everything she could ever want in life accept the attention she craved. Wanting to be able to stand out in her family Rosa began experimenting with drugs and other dangerous habits. She started at the age of fifteen and it continued through out her life until she was about seventeen when her older brother and friend made her go and get help.

When at Hogwarts she had been an amazing potion maker and her heart was filled with bubbling cauldrons and different elixirs. She was in Slytherin like most of her family and went through most of her classes as pretty average. She started out at the top of her class but then as her obsession with narcotics grew her grades and morals dropped considerably.

Upon graduating she decided that she wanted to put her use in potions to use and chose to join the St. Mungo's team and better herself in the world.

Family History: Not much to tell here...Her family was filled with purebloods and her parents met at a University. She has thirteen other brother's and sisters

Name: Norah Marie Connor

Age: 19

Position: Nurse

Appearance: Small in stature, but very feminine figure, red hair, dark brown eyes, engaging smile

Character History: She is a pureblood witch who was born in Ireland, in April of 1975. Her parents divorced when she was little, and she grew up with her brother and father. She was in Slytherin in school, but she was told she was too sweet for it from most of her fellow snakes. She became a nurse because she has always loved helping people, and she enjoys that her compassion pisses off her family.

Family History: She has an older brother named Michael, who is a death eater. And her father Patrick is very proud of him. Her mother, Angela, left and Norah has not seen her for sixteen years.

RP Sample:

Norah smiled at Healer Marks and handed him the potion he had requested. He had to be one of her favorite healers at the hospital. He was so nice and kind, and he didn't treat her like she was just a lowly nurse. Aiden Showers was very attractive, but he was a hard ass. So she steered clear of him if she could help it. And Healer Valari was...well, he was in a class all on his own. She didn't pay much attention to any of the trainees. They were all either taken, or way too immature.

"Anything else I can get for you, Healer? Oh, sorry...I meant Randall. I know, you don't have to remind me again," she smiled. "Sometimes I call Healer Showers Aiden. He doesn't like that very much. And I've seen his wife...I know she doesn't like it at all."

But her smile faded as the patient began going into cardiac arrest. She rushed to his side and checked his vitals quickly.

"Is it a bad reaction to the potion? Tell me what to do, and I will do it."

Age: 16

Name: Candice Nadine Bauer

Age: 24

Position: Psychologist

Area in Mungos: Basement

Appearance: Beautiful bright blue eyes and bright red hair. She has a warm smile that could melt an iceberg and a face that tells all her clients that she is listening to them.

Character History: Candice Nadine Lauster is from a muggle family and was raised to always know what is right and what is wrong. Her parents were what could be called, overly strict. She was not permitted to date until she reached the age of sixteen, and for the most part she stuck with that. Not because she did not like boys or had not interest in them, but because life just seemed to hold more interesting affairs then cute guys.

Those affairs pertaining to the human mind. Candice knew from the moment she stepped into Hogwarts that she had one dream and one dream only. And that was to work as a magical Psychologist. She wanted to see into the depths of peoples minds and figure out what made them tick. She wanted to know why people did things, and if she could help them find themselves if need be.

When she graduated from Hogwarts she immediately started interning at St. Mungo's and when she was nineteen she met the love of her life. It was coincidental that they met while she was having a severe asthma attack. Her savior later turned out to be her husband, making her Candice Nadine Bauer.

Family History: They are muggles so they have really no significance to her. Her magical powers are believed to come from her grandfather on her mother's side.

RP Sample:

Candice sat in her office, lightly gasping for breath. She had left her inhaler at home once again and now was starting to feel the effects of not having it. She knew that her husband would bring it to her if she called him, but she wasn't in the mood for another lecture on keeping it in her purse or in her jean pocket. She couldn't help but forget it, it was just such a pain to carry around. Clenching her fists a bit she broke into a light coughing fit. She needed to call Vincent, she couldn't wait any longer.

Taking her phone out of her hand bag she called her beloved and waited for him to answer the phone.

"V-V-Vincent," she gasped. "I...I need my inhaler...please?"

Name: Merideth Spencer

Age: 40

Position: Sr. Healer

Area in Mungos: Fifth floor- Maternity

Appearance: Long glossy brown hair, enormous brown eyes. Smiles a lot, especially when talking about her family

Character History: Sorted into Gryffindor when she was at Hogwarts, married her husband and had the first of her four children not long after leaving school. Has four children, Zoe, 19; Ava, 16; Emma, 15; Finn, 9. Decided that she wanted to be a healer in her third year at school, and absolutely nothing could change her mind. She started her training when she was 17, and chose to work in Maternity since she was happier there than in any other ward in St. Mungo's.

Family History: Her parents were both Muggle borns, had one older sister that died from a childhood accident when she was ten. Parents still live in her childhood home in North London. No other siblings, no cousins as her father was an only child and her uncle on her mother's side was unable to have children.

RP Sample: Merideth examined the chart she had been handed and smiled. Her next patient was doing well. She was young, and this was her first child. She loved it when she had new parents coming in. The only thing that made her a bit sad was that this girl was also only a student. She had her whole life ahead of her, she was practically a baby herself, but here she was, about to become a mother.

Meri had been trying to explain cravings to her patient's fiancé. They didn't always last for the entire pregnancy, but this boy, and he really was just a boy, younger than her own daughter, Zoe, he thought that there must be something wrong. He couldn't understand why the mother of his child wouldn't want to eat all that much. But it touched her to know that this father-to-be cared about his girlfriend, and their baby. So many boys and men didn't nowadays.

She entered the examination room and found the couple sitting side by side on the exam table nervously.

"Don't worry, your baby is fine," she said with a big smile.
