Appearance: Milky, pale, skin that is so flawless some people think they are staring at a porcealin doll when they see her. She has dark, beautiful, eyes and a set of full lips. Her hair is silky with a dark as night sheen to it, and it lays in beautiful locks to her lower back.

Character History: Akira Ogowa lives in Japan with her muggle father and witch mother. Her father, who was the image of utter perfection, insisted that his daughter be both trained in magical affairs and academical ones the like. Her family holds the highest honor in Japan and as an Ogowa member Akira is expected to hold the family's highest honors. It was a responsibility that she never took lightly, and her father pressed upon her constantly.

She went to a private wizarding school and was given a time turner so she could also attend muggle school as well. Her father insisted that any grade lower than an O or A was a failure and should she reach anything lower punishments would be distributed....and they were. Akira lived in a home that centered around fear and respect, she was raised to respect all of her elders and failure to do so was also punishable.

When she reached her magical peak her mother insisted that she get her wand immediately, however her father insisted that being a member of the Ogowa family she learned how to use wandless magic. Not being able to do so until she could get her wand, her father convinced Akira that this brought great shame onto his household as her mother could do both wandless and non-verbal magic. Akira mastered non-verbal magic her third year of school in Japan, and started her wandless magic training in her fifth year of schooling.

However Akira's passion had always been in the martial arts. Her father said that it was the one thing he was truly proud of her for. Akira found it to be an art of body and mind. Her favorite forms are Kendo (a form of Japanese sword fighting), Aikido (a form of fighting that includes both matial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs), Nippon Kempo ( the art places an equal emphasis on striking techniques using hands and feet, immobilization and controls, projections and take-downs), Jujutsu (close combat when one uses either no weapon or a short weapon), Shurikenjutsu, as well as several magical forms of martial arts that Akira is forbidden to mention outside of her family. And she continues to teach herself techniques from other cultures as well.

As her family is quite strict and believes in proud bloodlines, Akira was chosen to marry one of Japan's finest. Her betrothel was announced several weeks before her sixteenth birthday and being mortified with her parents decisions she refused, stating that she would rather strip herself of her honor with a kunai knife than marry who her father had chosen. Such disrespect was not tolerated in the Ogowa house and her parents sent her away to study in London, ridding themselves of her until she could decide that she was prepared to follow with her parents wishes.

She was sorted suddenly, the hat being so impressed with her knowledge instantly placing her in Ravenclaw. However, because the change had been so sudden Akira never learned to speak English...and is currently unable to speak to non- Japanese speaking students. Her Professor assigned her a student translator, who is also currently teaching her how to speak English.

Family History: Akihiko Ogowa was the son of a government official in Japan. From day one his life had been paved with politics and riches. He was raised to never accept failure and always strove for perfection. Marrying at a young age to a beautiful woman Haru Miura, they both had one child. Akihiko was instantly aware of Haru's magical heritage, which was the reason they were made to marry. He had hoped that her magical bloodline and his noble bloodline would breed a beautiful daughter, one that the world would recognize and respect.

And they did, their daughter Akira was born and raised to be a proper lady of a Japanese society. When she refused the match he made for her he refused to look at her, sending her away to Hogwarts in hopes of breaking her of her proud spirit.

Akira watched the other passengers leave the plane and with tears in her eyes she stood to follow them. She knew nothing of London, UK...and her heart was still in Japan. God, she missed it so much. Missed the sight of the beautiful Japan sky, missed the sound of the waterways as they trickled by her house, she missed everything. But she did not miss her father, did not miss the man that he wanted her to marry. Maybe this would be a change for her...maybe this was the plan that God had for her...well she would find out, wouldn't she?

"Miss?" the stewardess asked. "Miss? Do you have a ride?"

Akira looked at her strangely, this language was so different from her own. She just did not comprehend anything anyone said.

"I'm sorry...I do not speak English," she whispered in Japanese. "Pardon me."

Name: Dominic Xavier Booker

Age: 16

Blood: Pureblood

Appearance: Brown hair and eyes, usually appears to be innocent, but can be secretly thinking of mischief, not that tall- stands between 5'9" and 5'10".

Character History: Only child of Harrison and Irene Booker, Dominic grew up in a sheltered neighborhood, wanting for nothing, but was usually bored out of his mind since he wasn't allowed to associate with children that weren't magical. Started playing small pranks on the family house elves to entertain himself, but even that grew boring after a week or two, so he began reading and studying astronomy.

Began Hogwarts at age eleven and immediately found a group of friends that expanded beyond what he was used to, speaking to Muggleborns, half-bloods and purebloods alike.

Family History: Both parents graduated from Hogwarts, Harrison from Slytherin and Irene from Ravenclaw. Both have always been raised to believe that Muggles really have no place in the world, since they are incapable of using magic, something that their son has never agreed with. The elder Bookers live in their home on the outskirts of London, choosing to stay apart of the mainstream city that so thrills Dominic.

He continued and found both the big and little Dippers, then looked his chart over to see if he'd missed anything. When he was happy with his assignment, he took the parchment to his professor.

Appearance: Blonde hair, Green/Hazel eyes, Looks like she is always up to something, Guarded face, 5'3, Slender

Character History: Raleigh was born in Sydney, Australia. Her mother died when Raleigh was three, so she never knew her. Her mother was a Pureblood, but that's all her father will tell her. She doesn't even know her name. Her father is a Muggleborn. Raleigh is a bit of trouble-maker. You could always find Raleigh in the Headmaster's office or in detention. She is very independent and sticks to only a few select people.

Family History: Her mother was sorted into Slytherin. At least, that's why her father told her. Raleigh never met her, so she doesn't know. Her father was sorted into Gryffindor. They were an odd pairing. A Pureblood Slytherin and a Muggleborn Gryffindor. It was even more dangerous, because Raleigh's mother's family are Death Eaters. Raleigh believes that the Death Eaters killed her mother.

Raleigh looked at her father, lazily, twirling her wand in her fingers. "Yes?" she wondered, her voice sneering at him. Raleigh knew that her father was used to her behavior. Raleigh just felt a little bad about being so rude to him. Yet, it was evident that he didn't like her that much. Or at least he acted like he hated her.

Her father's green eyes hardened. "Raleigh, I thought I told you to put away your clothes." he stated, pointing at the mess of Muggle clothing that was at the end of her bed. Her father insisted that she wear Muggle clothing, since during the summer she wasn't aloud to have contact with anyone magic.

Rolling her eyes, Raleigh glanced back up at him. "Why can't we just get a House Elf?" she whined, jumping off her bed. "I mean, we are wizards. Let's act like it!" Raleigh demanded, picking up a shoe and throwing it into her large closet. It hit the wall with a loud thud. She turned around to frown at him. "Why do you hate magic so much?" her voice was soft.

Name: Ursilla Nadine Avers

Appearance: Brown hair and eyes, willowy frame, when she smiles she can look bashful.

Character History: Born in Hertfordshire to her single mother, Ursilla was named after her late grandmother. She grew up with friends and cousins even after her powers came into being then started her magical training at the age of eleven. She has always tended to be standoffish and sometimes cold. Ursilla learned this from her mother, who raised her only child the way that she herself was raised.

Family History: Nadjya Avers became pregnant when she was sixteen years old and delivered her child not long after her seventeenth birthday. She named her daughter after the one person that had still thought she'd become something, her own mother, who died right before Ursilla was born. Nadjya finished her schooling and became a model for a foreign wizarding magazine, bringing enough money into the house to comfortably support herself and daughter, and proving her remaining family wrong She traveled the world with her daughter, being sure that Ursilla learned to speak at least five languages other than English.

RP Sample Ursilla flicked through the magazine that lay on the table in front of her. She wasn't actually paying attention to it, she was looking around for her friends. She'd not seen them in a while and wanted to catch up with what was going on. Of course, being in Hogwarts, a while meant only a matter of hours, but to the sixteen year old, that was a lifetime.

She shot a withering glance at a first year that passed her, trying to sneak a peak at the contents of the magazine. She pulled it closer to her hiding the page that she was on. How she detested nosy people! Well, not so much nosy people as those who were being obvious about it. She heard her name and looked up.

"It's about time! Get over here and tell me about this guy you met!"

Character History: Aoife and her twin sister Colleen were born just minutes apart to kind-hearted parents Fiona and Kieran O'Brien. Their parents were ex-hippies who never quite gave up the lifestyle and raised their daughters to love peace and kindness and beauty. Aoife took these lessons to heart. She and Colleen grew up in Mali, where their parents worked as curse breakers. Upon Colleen and Aoife's acceptance into Hogwarts, the O'Briens moved back to their home in Galway, Ireland, where her parents continue to live. Aoife has a sweet and gentle spirit, but she is painfully shy, depending upon her sister to give her strength. She is in a near-constant quest for beauty and expresses herself best through her artwork.

Family History: Fiona Kennedy and Kieran O'Brien were childhood sweethearts and married soon after graduating from Hogwarts. Both are filled with a profound sense of wanderlust. After they married, they spent some time touring the world and losing themselves in the peace and love of the hippie life. When Fiona discovered she was pregnant, the two returned home to Ireland ready to start a family, but their wanderlust would not leave them alone for long. They moved to Mali soon after their twin daughters were born and worked as curse breakers there.

Strengths: Aoife's kindness, generosity, and compassion are genuine. She wants the people around her to be happy and will sometimes sacrifice her own happiness to make it so. She is a loyal friend once people can get past her initial shyness. She is very intelligent, though far too shy to show it off. She also values honesty very highly, though she is gifted at diplomacy. She is a very talented artist and is never happier than when she is painting, unless she's hanging out with her sister. She has a wicked sense of humor and comes up with great ideas for pranks, though she's far too afraid of angering the people around her to actually follow through with any of them.

Aoife cocked her head and added a little more purple. She couldn't get the colors quite right. For days she had been studying the sunset trying to get it perfect, but there was something missing. The only problem was that she didn't know what. "What do you think?" she asked her sister, Colleen, but before Colleen could answer, Aoife was already adding pink. Frustration seethed inside of her. She would never get it right! It needed to be perfect! "This is awful!" she cried, tossing down her paintbrush. She was never going to be a good enough painter. She just couldn't get it right. She plopped down on the ground next to Colleen and stared at the painting in the dying light of day. She dropped her head onto Colleen's shoulder. "Do you think I'll ever really be able to be a painter?" she asked, a waver in her voice.

She didn't expect Colleen to answer. It was a rhetorical question, and one she asked a lot. Asked others. Asked herself. Some days, she could hardly bear the thought it made her so happy. To be able to paint all day for the rest of her life? She couldn't imagine a better life. Other days she was afraid to hope for such things. It was such a silly dream, to think that anyone might care about her paintings. She could hardly bear to show them even to the people she trusted. Would she ever be brave enough to show them to total strangers?

Aoife looked up at her painting. Perhaps it wasn't so bad. The edges of the painting, pink and purple and green, matched the light through the window almost perfectly. Aoife jumped up in a flash. She knew just what it needed! Only a touch more yellow! Aoife added the touches and showed it to Colleen. "Well?" she asked, excited now. "What do you think? Did I get it right?"

RP Sample: Colleen looked into the room and grinned. It was empty! She'd just left her sister up in the art classroom, telling her that she'd felt like taking a walk. She'd come down to this empty classroom so that she could just dance around. She'd just had so much energy that day that she just couldn't contain it any longer.

Colleen knew that it wouldn't be long before Aoife came looking for her, but she needed to burn off her extra energy, or she would just burst! She saw that there was a phonograph in the corner and trotted over to it. It seemed relatively easy to use, just turn the crank and it would start right up. She turned the crank a few times and set the needle on the album that was laying on the turntable.

Slow, classical music started to fill the room. Well, that wouldn't do. She moved the needle to the next song and found that this one was much better. She giggled and went to the middle of the room, dancing madly all over the open area. She felt much better! This was fun!

She continued with her dance until the end of the song. When the room fell quiet, she heard a quiet laugh and someone started clapping. She spun around, her face turning flame red at the sight of the seventh year boy in the doorway.

"How long have you been standing there?"

Name: Bridgett Leanne Williams

Age: 16 yrs old

Appearance: Bright red hair with light green (somewhat hazel) eyes. She has a very pale face, and thin frame. Her nails are always painted but she doesn't like wearing too much make up.

Character History: Bridgett Williams lives with her mother Delia in Kent. She isn't like most teens her age. She is very timid, sweet, and obedient. She doesn't try to fight anyone and often clings to any person that shows her any act of kindness...and ignores any act of cruelty they may inflict on her afterwards. She does not like conflict and is often so oblivious to her surroundings that she will find herself smack dab in the middle of it. When she was eleven her older brother Lucas took her to get her first wand and just as any other student at Hogwarts she went through the sorting; being put in Gryffindor just as her brother had been in when he was a student.

She often finds herself hanging out with the wrong kind of people which explains her close "friendship" and obsession with Lucivar Ryder. Not being able to refuse her friend anything she often finds herself in a lot of trouble and sometimes terribly hurt.

Appearance:Helena has long dark hair, bordering on midnight black. She has crystal eyes which are usually a glittering blue but can flash black when irritated. She stands at an even 5’4, although she usually looks taller because she’s constantly wearing heels. She has big lips which tend to be her most prominent feature. She often accentuates them with darker colors and draws more attention to them by biting them. Her skin ranges from pale to a subtle tan depending on the season. Recently she has taken to keeping away from the sun, preferring how the paleness makes her look.

The Ryder twins were born on the coldest night of December. Helena was born six minutes after her brother making her the baby of the family. However, she never received any love from her mother or father. They only wanted Lucivar and even he was shown the merest amount of affection. Helena learned from an early age that the only person she could rely on was her brother.

When she turned seven her mother tried to sell her in order to pay off some debts. This infuriated her and her brother and in a rage they joined hands an inadvertently killed their mother. Their father was terrified but the monster in them had been created and the anger and resentment was enough to subdue him. It was at this age that they learned that power is everything, the single more important thing, and that there is no greater power than magic.

From then on life got so much simpler for the twins. Helena received whatever she wanted and her father showered her with attention driven by fear. When they were eleven they received their letters to Hogwarts, excited they were taken to Diagon Alley so they could purchase their supplies. It was in a shop that Helena first learned the tragic curse that could come with her beauty. She was molested by a worker at the quill shop. No one knows the extent of what happened because when she was discovered the man was burned to a crisp she wouldn’t speak of it. The only evidence of that day is the snake that she was found with, which was later named Kiira.

She was silent for the following six months and her first words after weren’t spoken until the sorting feast as Hogwarts. Not unexpectedly, both the Ryders were sorted into Slytherins, this was due not only to their sadistic and evil natures but also because of their ancestry (more of that in family history). She made fast friends in Slytherin, although there is no one that she truly trusts. She has a truly sadistic personality and derives pleasure from other people’s pain. Although she has hurt a great deal of people she has rarely gotten into trouble, since usually her victims are too afraid to speak or rather she doesn’t seem to have any direct involvement.

It was with Kiira that the Ryders discovered they were parselmouths. No one outside of the twins knows of this power. From their admittance into Hogwarts they were attracted to the Dark Arts and have spent many hours reading books from the restricted section. Because of their aforementioned power the twins have been studying how to become animagus with Helena’s chosen animal as a snake.

In their third year when their father moved to strike Helena, Lucivar placed him under the imperius curse where he has remained ever since. He is now a doting and loving father, since the Ryders mostly kept to themselves no one has discovered the change.

In her sixteen years Helena has yet to form an uncorrupted relationship with anyone but her brother. However, the Ryders met a Gryffindor who developed a rather odd obsession with Lucivar. Because of her eagerness to please and ability to withstand their harsh treatment they have let her get close to them. She is Helena’s closest friend, if she’s at all capable of having them, and although Helena would hate to admit it she cares for the girl in her own strange way.

Although she is frequently using her womanly wiles to get what she wants Helena has never been with any man. She leaves most of them begging for more after she gets what she wants from them. For all her anger and control issues, Helena is an excellent student with obvious talent for potions and transfiguration. Her plans after graduation are unknown. Although both twins greatly admire Voldemort it is unsure whether they will join his ranks due to their serious aversion to authority.

Joseph went on to make his fame as a curse breaker due to his uncanny natural resistance to curses. It was at his job where he became reacquainted with the girl from his past Jacklyn Stratton. The two had a short lived courtship and were married within the year. They lived a happy and simple life and went on to have Daemon Ryder. There were complications and Jacklyn died during childbirth.

Joseph never forgave his son for the death of their mother and constantly blamed him for it. This treatment and abuse created a warped personality within Daemon, who was manipulative, selfish and twisted, most resembling his mentally unstable grandfather, Morfin Gaunt. In Hogwarts, he followed family tradition and was sorted into Slytherin. It was in school where he met Natasha Mondragon. Natasha came from a poor but pure family who was always in search of more power. The Ryder name was a popular one and so they agreed to marry out of convenience.

This loveless marriage proved to be disastrous for them both. However, out of this toxic relationship Helena and Lucivar were born. The environment in which they raised was destructive. Natasha was especially abusive toward Helena, envying her for her beauty and youth.

Strengths: Potions & Transfiguration. A amazing skill and dueling along with ease using more powerful and dangerous spells.
Weaknesses: The only person she truly cares for is her brother. By controlling him in essence one could control her.
Hobbies: Torturing weaker creatures as well as people. Perfecting her knowledge in the dark arts and trying to master nonverbal and wandless magic.
Habits: Biting or licking her lips when distracted as well as touching the back of her neck where a small scar resides the only physical evidence of her molestation.

His face often carries a bored and uninterested expression, which is when he’s at his most dangerous.

He was sorted into Slytherin along with his sister. He further embodies what a perfect Slytherin should be, cold, manipulative, calculating and intelligent. Like his sister he hasn’t formed any pure relationships. However, he has some true feelings for Bridget, which he refuses to acknowledge.

Unlike his sister, however, he has slept with many girls often using sex as a weapon over them. He enjoys not only the physical pleasure but the controlling aspect of it all. He is sadistic in his nature both in and out of the bedroom. Despite this information many girls still come to him readily.

Joseph went on to make his fame as a curse breaker due to his uncanny natural resistance to curses. It was at his job where he became reacquainted with the girl from his past Jacklyn Stratton. The two had a short lived courtship and were married within the year. They lived a happy and simple life and went on to have Daemon Ryder. There were complications and Jacklyn died during childbirth.

Joseph never forgave his son for the death of their mother and constantly blamed him for it. This treatment and abuse created a warped personality within Daemon, who was manipulative, selfish and twisted, most resembling his mentally unstable grandfather, Morfin Gaunt. In Hogwarts, he followed family tradition and was sorted into Slytherin. It was in school where he met Natasha Mondragon. Natasha came from a poor but pure family who was always in search of more power. The Ryder name was a popular one and so they agreed to marry out of convenience.

This loveless marriage proved to be disastrous for them both. However, out of this toxic relationship Helena and Lucivar were born. The environment in which they raised was destructive. Natasha was especially abusive toward Helena, envying her for her beauty and youth.

Character History: Hallie is the sweetest person you will ever meet. She loves animals, children, making jewelry and designing clothes. She was born in June and her parents always thought the sunshine of that month fit her personality well. She is very innocent, and she is content that way. Hallie had a huge crush on her housemate, Liam throughout her third and fourth year. It wasn't until she was fifteen that they finally started dating, and they have been together ever since.
Family History: Hallie is one of six children, and she is the only girl. Three of her brothers are older, and two are younger and attending Hogwarts. Her mother stayed home with them, but modeled when she was younger. And her father works in the Transportation department of the Ministry.
Strengths: Kind, warm, loving, peacemaker. She's brave when she needs to be, which is probably why she was sorted into Gryffindor instead of Hufflepuff.

He gets top marks without really trying. He's often bored in class, so he turns to mischief. Friendly and outgoing, he's generally well-liked, though lately he's having a rough time coping with the death of his parents, so he's become angrier and more withdrawn than usual. Being the youngest, he was very close with his parents. He now lives with his oldest brother, Noah, and his family when he isn't at Hogwarts. He is close with his siblings as well, though he's having trouble connecting with them at the moment.

The professor was talking, but Harper wasn't listening. He already understood this stuff. He wished he could go forward to his N.E.W.T.s and save himself a lot of time. He waved his wand in the air and conjured two dung beetles. He elbowed one of his mates and pointed to them. "Want to race them?" he whispered. "I bet you a chocolate frog card mine wins."

Soon, the entire back row was engulfed in the great dung beetle race, whispering and nudging as the beetles got closer and closer to the makeshift finish line. Eight people now had beetles in. Not one of them heard the professor come up.

"Harper Mason!" Harper's head jerked up and, judging from the looks on the professor's face and how many of the students had turned to look at him, the professor had likely been trying to get his attention for some time. He bit down a wave of annoyance. Why did everyone always assume everything was his fault? Then he realized it made sense. None of his friends could have conjured dung beetles. It was far too advanced. Still, it wasn't particularly fun to be be blamed for everything all the time. And someone else might have done it. It was possible, anyway.

Down the table, someone cheered. He looked down and saw that his dung beetle was the winner. He'd just won eight chocolate frogs, and he couldn't even enjoy it for the smoke coming out of his professor's nostrils. He waved his wand and all the beetles disappeared. Get rid of the evidence. He looked up at the professor, and his face became like stone, his mouth a grim, straight line. Why couldn't professors ever just leave a body alone? He sat up straight and met the hawk-like gaze. "May I help you?"
