Teaching Quarters

Okay, so as the title explains. If you are a teacher you are obligated to your own living space. Here is where you can apply for that space. Now, because they are teacher dorms...please do not be too extravagant. No hidden mansions in Hogwats . Although hilarious it is not realistic in the slightest. Otherwise go nuts! Also, quarters are locked off from students that are not related to the teacher. So, I'm sorry, but no threads of sneaking into teacher dorms and pulling pranks (cough: George Weasley).

Teacher Name: Deanna Benfield

Position at Hogwarts: Mythology Professor

Floor Your Classroom is on: Fifth

Quarters Description: Deanna's quarters are decorated in her favorite colors, and each room has a different scheme. Her living room is in blues, with her couch a deep navy, her carpet a shade of ocean, and her walls a pale sky.

A corridor off the back left corner leads down to her bedroom and bath. The bath is in yellows, with the fixtures being the only difference as they are stainless steel. The walls here are light canary, and the floor is a gold tile. The fixtures of the bathroom are a muted sunflower yellow.

Her bedroom is in purples- the rug and the bedspread the same color of amethyst, and the throw pillows on the lavender chairs in varying shades of lilac. Her desk is in the corner next to the bed, cluttered with numurous books on every type of Mythology there is.

Teacher Name: Sirius Black

Position at Hogwarts: Astronomy Professor, Head of Gryffindor House

Floor Your Classroom is on: Seventh

Quarters Description: Sirius' quarters are simple and cozy. The door opens onto a welcoming living room, with an overstuffed sofa and squashy red armchairs similar to what might be found in the Gryffindor common room. There is a fireplace with a mantel, the top of which is filled with pictures of Harry, the Marauders, and Sirius' two favorite pictures of Regulus - one of them laughing together as small children, and another of them forcing smiles as teenagers only a few days before Sirius left home forever.

Off the living room is a small kitchen with a breakfast nook and pots hanging from the walls. A small cherry wood table sits in the breakfast nook. There's a blue bowl on it, which Sirius always intends to have filled with fruit, though it rarely is.

A small hallway attaches to the back of the living room and leads to a bathroom and two bedrooms - a master bedroom for Sirius, and an intentionally spacious second bedroom that purports to be for guests, but is actually for Harry in case he should ever decide he wishes to stay the night.

The walls are white and sparsely decorated, though Sirius brought over a few paintings from Grimmauld Place. Mostly, however, empty wall space is taken up with bookshelves, for Sirius' quarters are full of books on all subjects.

The floors are stone, like all of Hogwarts, though Sirius has covered them with plush rugs in muted earth tones to keep his feet from being cold in the mornings.

Position at Hogwarts: Herbology Professor

Floor Your Classroom is on: Hogwarts Grounds

Quarters Description: Very modern, but also very feminine. The front room area is decorated in lavish purple and white, with very comfy couches and flowers everywhere. There is a fireplace and a small kitchen area, though she doesn't use it often. Her bedroom is much the same, only more of a cream color scheme. She doesn't stay here on the weekends or over the summer holiday, but it is very comfortable for when she needs to be there. She also keeps plants and herbs here, but not enough to overwhelm her.

Students permitted inside: Ashton Michaels (almost nephew)

Teacher Name: Oliver Michaels

Position at Hogwarts: Charms Professor

Floor Your Classroom is on: Third Floor

Quarters Description: Warm colors make up his study and you enter directly from his office. It is not a very large space, but it feels quite roomy due to the charms he had placed on it. There are two bedrooms and one very large bathroom. The first bedroom is Oliver's, when he is not at home. And the second is Ashton's, in case he needs a place to stay other than his dorm. If Max or Matthew need to stay, the front room couch can be transfigured into a bed.
